A Saturday Night Experiment...
After a day of being outdoors and in the brisk fall air, my hands were hurting. The skin on my palms became tough and cracked and my cuticles looked sad. Then an idea popped in my head. First, I filled these cheap nail soakers with pure olive oil. I let my fingers soak for 15 min. When they were done soaking, I removed the soakers and slathered on some Goldbond Ultimate Healing Hand Lotion. I then put on a pair of those latex doctors gloves so the lotion/olive oil mixture really soaks in. I then proceeded to do homework, eat, do dishes, etc. That's one of the perks of this hand treatment, you can carry on with everyday tasks. After letting my hands soak for 2 hours, I took off the gloves. Boy was I surprised! My hand looked and felt better. It was like I had new skin. I hope to due this once a week through the winter I really recommend trying this. Have a great weekend!

Elegant French Tips
Todays mani was created using OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and the rhinestones I showed you the other day. I love how dainty and girly this turned. You could definitely rock this mani of many different occasions.

Breast Cancer Awareness Mani
October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Did you know one in eight woman will be diagnosed with breast cancer? Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in women. Two of my aunts have been diagnosed with breast cancer and unfortunately one of them lost the fight in October 2011. Today I'm showing my support with this mani. I started with a base of OPI My Vampire Is Buff on all my nails. I then created a gradient on my pointer, middle, and pinky finger using Orly Cotton Candy and Orly Blushing Bud. On my ring finger I created an awareness ribbon using pink rhinestones.

Funky French-Tip Pumpkins
| Please excuse the slightly blurry picture :P |
Nothing says fall and Halloween like pumpkins. October happens to be one of my favorite months mostly because it's my birthday month (the 15th) but its so pretty out all the time. The pumpkins are created using Zoya Destiny from their Summer Fairy Dust Collection. I created the stems using China Glaze Running In Circles. I love how this came out and it screams fall.
