Consumer Products Announce Collaboration with Hit ABC Comedy Modern Family

Nicole by OPI, in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox Consumer Products, launches 14 new nail lacquers inspired by ABC’s award-winning comedy, Modern Family.  The nail line features shades created to capture the show’s colorful personalities, from a classic taupe named after family patriarch Jay, to a sparkly pink hue fitting for toddler Lily.

 “Modern Family is not only one of the funniest shows on television, it features a great ensemble cast of rich characters that inspired a range of shades, from pastel hues like sea foam green and periwinkle to brighter colors of cobalt and red-violet,” remarks Suzi Weiss-Fischmann, Nicole by OPI Executive VP & Artistic Director.  “From studious Alex to bombshell Gloria, to classic (and neurotic) Claire, to flirty Haley, there are shades to represent each of these uniquely fabulous women – and everyone else in the blended family.

Review: Julep One-Step Polish Remover Pads

Two days ago I received my November Mace box. This month it came with 3 remover pads, a  matte top coat, Nora, and Hallie. I will have swatches later in the week but I though I would start with the polish remover first.

I opened the envelope, reached in to pull out the pad, and it took some of my polish of already.

After using the pad on all ten nails. Please excuse how gross my nails look :P


Overall this product worked well but you have to work quickly because the minute the pad makes contact with the air it starts to dry out. I used this on nail that had glitter and it took off easily. I don't know if I would purchase this myself but it was nice to try it. I found that it didn't dry out my skin as much as traditional remover which is always a perk.

China Glaze Haul

Oreo

Hey girls and guys! The reason I haven't posted in a while was because school had started again and then my pet guinea pig, Oreo, died. I know a guinea pig doesn't sound like a big deal but Oreo was like a dog to me. He would follow me around the house and I would say his name or walk by his cage and he would start chirping as if he knew what I was saying. He was a little over four years old when he passed. Guinea pigs live up to 5 years so he lived a long and happy life. So enough of the sob story and lets get to the haul.

Good Stamping Polishes

This past summer I got into nail stamping. I have 26 plates but I haven't found that many polishes yet. The black I use is Sinful Colors Black on Black. My bottle is one the thicker side so It works well but I'm almost out. I don't have a white. The silver I tried using was Revlon Silver Dollar. It worked okay but I want a better one. I'm thing of buying Pure Ice Silver Mercedes which I have heard is a great stamping polish. I have tried other polishes but when you have a 200+ collection names of colors start to slip by you lol. If you have and recommendations please comment below and let me know :)

Sage is a pretty mossy green with green, orange, and yellow holo shimmer.. For less than $3 dollars this is a must have. In my 200+ collection I don't have anything like it :)

Welcome To My Blog

Hey Everybody! Welcome to my blog! This is my first post sooo I thought I would tell you  my posting schedule. 

Mondays is when I will post new collections coming up. Tuesdays is when I will be posting my Teal Tuesday look. Wednesday and Thursday will be what ever I feel like. Friday will be hauls I purchased during the week. Saturday will be a summary of how the week went and 5 of my fave posts form other blogs. Sunday will be Stamping Sunday. Please keep in mind this all subject to change but this is what I plan on.
